LTWI is conveniently located to lodging and transportation. LTWI is located just two miles from the major resort hotels (Harrah's, Harvey's, Caesar's, Horizon, and Embassy Suites). There are numerous motels and restaurants just a few miles further away in South Lake Tahoe CA. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport
is located Reno, NV is just 50 miles away (northeast) from LTWI. There is
ground transportation to and from the airport.
There is a (Round Hill) shopping mall just a few blocks away that includes a supermarket, gas station, delis, restaurants and boutiques. Nevada State Beach is in walking distance or a short drive (quarter mile away) where workshop participants can visit to walk the shores of Lake Tahoe, and even camp.
